Washington State USA is a State covering 176 617 km2 (68 192 sq miles) in the northwest, bordering Canada. It is traversed from north to south by the Coast and Cascade ranges; the latter rises to 4392 m (14 410 ft) at Mount Rainier. Wheat, cattle and apples are the main farm produce, and the region is rich in fish, especially salmon.
