The Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal is a very beautiful landlocked country, situated between Tibet, China and India. Nepal is the birthplace of the great Gautama Buddha (Buddhism founder). Nepal is probably the most peaceful place in Asia and their cultures are amazing. Nepal carries a different variety of landscapes and a beautiful monsoon climate; you'll not find this elsewhere. Nepal capital is Kathmandu, which is known as the valley of traditional culture.

Nepal is famous for trekking and other mountain sports. It is a little country but it is very high. Most of the religion is Hinduism and also, of course, Buddhism. The Nepali speak Nepali (official language of Nepal). Nepali people are very polite in nature and they respect you if you follow their warm affection. Namaste is a formal greeting, which is very respectful throughout Nepal.

Mountain biking is common practice in Nepal and winters are the best to hire a bike and ride the long mountainous routes. You don't need a tent or any food supplies if you are going trekking, because Nepal's tourism is fully developed for tourist ease and you can easily find beautiful lodges and food supplies. Beer and trekking is an awesome idea... but you should keep it under control! The main sightseeing attraction are the Himalaya peaks and huge mountains; Everest looks very beautiful from Nepal. Do not carry Indian rupees to Nepal because it is a punishable offense in Nepal, so it's better to exchange your money from ATMs. Most ATMs in Nepal are tax free.

Your visa is valid up to 180 days in Nepal but you don't need visas, if you are from Bangladesh, Pakistan, India, and from other border related country. A valid passport is compulsory for your identification. Nepal Airlines are connected to many international airports and a plane is the best option to visit Nepal.

Boiled rice with vegetables is a national meal but pizzas and other continental food is easily available in Nepal. Momos is Nepal's world famous dish and it is native to Nepal and Tibet. Herbal tea is common in Nepal and it is made using mountain herbs. Drinking tap water is not very recommended in Nepal, so please only drink mineral water or packaged drinking water. Holidays in Nepal are very affordable due to the economic conditions; one can afford many things with a 500$ budget.

Nepal is a very nice country for meditation and it will be a great learning experience for you. Buddhism is native to Nepal and you can learn a lot of things about their religion and culture. Yoga schools and trainings are their first priority, so be sure to learn some useful exercises. The Nepalese believe in natural and herbal healing powers and their spa centers are really pleasant. Nepal is a must visit country. You will learn lots: culture, yoga, and heritage. Nepal is one of the best holiday destinations.
