Singapore

Singapore is a haven Of Arts And Culture. Singapore is considered to be one of the cleanest countries in the world. This small country in terms of land area is home to 4.5 million people. Singapore is a country that is composed of immigrants from neighboring countries like Malaysia, India, Indonesia, China, and even from Europe. The blend of the different ethnic backgrounds of the people made the culture of Singapore unique.

One of the most popular things that you can do in Singapore is to indulge yourself in an exquisite dining experience around the city. The different cultures of the people can be seen and tasted in their cuisine. The flavorful menu that you can experience in Singapore is what made it to be known as a gourmetís paradise in the east. Depending on your budget, you can choose to dine in the 5 star restaurants or experience a unique dining experience in the street stalls where you can find foods representing each culture.

The climate of Singapore is tropical; this is because of its proximity to the equator. So it is advisable that visitors should pack their bags with light clothing, preferably made of cotton. People who love going outdoors and nature will have a good day at the Singapore Botanic Gardens. An area in the center of the island that offers a refreshing atmosphere for the travelers who want to get a break from the busy city. People come here to enjoy the view, as well as to jog, bike and walk. There are also several water sports that are being offered near the bay.

Another new attraction for the tourists in Singapore is the lush green train line. This 23 km stretch railroad that connects Woodlands to Tanjong Pagar was closed in July 2011. But the beautiful view along this old rail line drew the attention of the tourists, especially those people who love nature. Visitors can now walk through certain parts of this quiet and green railroad that starts from the central business district up to the high end real estate properties of Singapore.

The Government of Singapore also wants the country to promote their thriving art scene. So most visitors in this country would notice various art works displayed around the city. From contemporary paintings, statues and other forms of arts, walking around the city is like visiting a huge art gallery.

The Singapore Science Center on the other hand is for travelers who are particularly interested about the latest in Science and Technology. Singapore is also filled with shops and boutiques where you can find great deals on items like bags, clothes, gadgets and other items.
