The Blois Castle features an amazing staircase. and is a mixture of flamboyant Gothic, Italian Renaissance and classical layout.

Overlooking Place Victor-Hugo, the vestiges of the castle gardens offer an exceptional view of the city and castle.

Also, the Denis-Papin Steps offer a view southwards, and honour the memory of Denis Papin, the inventor of the steam engine, who lived in Blois (statue).
