Black Forest In the southwestern corner of Germany is the state of Baden-Württemberg. This state includes the famous Black Forest, Lake Constance, the Rhine, Danube and Neckar river valleys, the Swabian Jura, and the hilly Upper Rhine Plain, renowned for its vineyards.

The state has more annual tourists than it has citizens. Daimler-Benz, Bosch, and Porsche have their international headquarters in Baden-Württemberg, and many others besides.

Freiburg
In fact, the state's export volume is greater than that of the entire country of Switzerland. Karlsruhe and Freiburg are in Baden-Württemberg, as well as Stuttgart, which is the state's capital.
