Day 12:

Aran Islands

Aran Island - Dun Aengus
Take a boat to the fantastic Aran Islands. Aran is a walker's paradise. Feel the peace and listen to the silence, between sea and sky, on craggy cliffs or all along a quiet coastline. Aran has an abundance of wildlife and some 437 varieties of wild flowers. If pedaling is your pleasure hire a bike in Kilronan village and meander at will around this lovely island, or take a guided tour with a modern minibus, from the pier.

Aran Island
Visit Inishmor, one of Ireland's most impressive archeological sites, and Dun Aengus, a large stone crescent at the edge of the Island's sea cliffs, probably built about 2000 years ago.

2nd night in Galway.

Travel is an avenue of learning that no text or classroom can teach. The world is a living classroom and you the student. We invite you to the www.travel-university.org library where you can read general interest and detail oriented articles.
