Mondego

Longest river (220 km, 137 miles) entirely within Portugal. It rises in the Serra da Estrela, in the province of Beira Alta, and reaches the Atlantic at the town of Figueira da Foz, about 150 km (95 miles) north of the capital, Lisbon. Algarve
