Toledo

Toledo Walk through Toledo's old town and visit the Santa Cruz Museum. This museum is a mix of Gothic and Spanish Renaissance styles. The cloisters are superb, as are the upstairs displays of ceramics from across Spain.

Toledo's Cathedral Keep going to cover the streets and visit the Toledo's Cathedral which dominates the city skyline, reflecting the city's historical significance as the heart of Catholic Spain. Visit as well the Santo Tomé Church, a must-see, containing as it does El Greco's masterpiece, The Burial of the Count of Orgaz.

Santa Maria Synagogue In the Jewish quarter, the Sinagoga del Transito must be see. To finish, San Juan de los Reyes Monastery and Church is one of the more light-filled churches in Toledo and is notable for its delightful cloisters.
